Launch of the Northamptonshire Construction and Property Forum
The new Forum is being launched in Northamptonshire to help tackle some of the issues that are being confronted as part of the Countywide growth agenda.
David Rolton is one of the founding members of the Northamptonshire Construction and Property Forum and will meet up with the other members on a regular basis throughout the year to discuss and respond to the many issues that are being faced by business’ across Northamptonshire.
The main focus of the Forum will be linked to the construction and Property Industry and will create talking and networking shops to tackle the ongoing development and growth of Northamptonshire.
A Construction and Property Forum has already been successfully set up in Milton Keynes which meets up 10 times per year and also host quarterly meetings with board members from the key delivery vehicles in Milton Keynes.
In addition, the forum will also be adopting a charitable approach and as well as the regular meeting will be hosting a golf day and dinners to help raise money for local charitable causes. The nominated charity for the first year will be the Cynthia Spencer Hospice.
It is hoped that the Forum will grow to rival that of the Milton Keynes group and will help manage the relations and frustrations that can exist between the public and private sector whilst putting money back into the community through worthwhile causes.
The next meeting is on Friday 9th February and Rolton Group is going to be one of the sponsors.
