Crazy Hats Charity Walk 2007
Rolton Group supports the Crazy Hats Charity for Breast Cancer Care in Northamptonshire.
The Crazy Hats Charity Walk took place on Sunday 25th March and employees from the Rolton Group joined in to support the Charity, raising just over £200. Almost 2,000 people took part in the walk at Wicksteed Park, Kettering.
The group of Rolton employees wore Rolton Group Hard Hats that were spray painted pink and had ‘CRAZY’ decoration on to fit the theme for the day.
The money which has been raised is rolling in and is hoped to meet the total which was raised last year - £78,000.
This year’s walk was the fifth one to have taken place and has been the most successful one that the charity has staged.
Since Crazy Hats was launched five years ago, the charity has raised more than £340,000 which has paid for a number of major projects at Kettering and Northampton General Hospitals.
