Planning site investigation

The presence of mature trees on the site means that clay in the ground could cause problems. Claire's assignment is to excavate a further ten trial holes at specific points on the site, where homes are to be built and see how much clay, if any, she finds.
Claire will be supervising the excavation of ten trial holes, recording what she sees and bringing back samples for analysis.
Sanjay will be supervising a separate excavation - checking on the location of some old sewage pipes on the site.
