We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Engineer to join an existing civil engineering team, which provides highway and drainage infrastructure support to a number of Blue-Chip International Brands for projects primarily within the automotive, commercial, industrial, retail, education and residential sectors.

The successful candidate will be responsible, under the leadership of an Associate Director, for the internal day-to-day management of small to medium scale projects and the engineering solutions for numerous schemes for clients across these sectors. The ability to operate as part of a wider project team and to represent the company with confidence to a variety of clients and outside organisations is required for the role. The candidate will have the ability to work on their own initiative and to coordinate their work with others, with high attention to accuracy and detail.

As such, there must be demonstrable technical ability and management experience on matters of estate infrastructure, roads and drainage design and detail; including obtaining technical approval of Section (S)38, S104 and S278 applications; flood risk assessments and drainage strategies. Good communication, report writing skills and thorough working capability with AutoCAD and Causeway Flow are essential; familiarity with design software such as PDS and Civil 3D is highly desirable and development of skills in these will be required and provided, if not already held.

The candidate should be a Chartered Engineer with either the Institution of Civil Engineers at least Ten [10] years post graduate ‘hands on’ design experience.
