After leaving the EU, the UK will have a new-found freedom when it comes to defining legislation, policies and best practices for the energy sector; a welcome opportunity for us to start making serious changes in the way we supply power to the nation based on goals reflecting what's most important to us in the long-term, moving away from short-term EU set targets.
