Apprentice to Administrator

This week is National Apprenticeship Week and we have been celebrating the success of Eloise Slade who has been promoted from Business Administration Apprentice to Team Administrator, supporting our Geotechnical team.

National Apprenticeship Week aims to promote the opportunities and benefits that apprenticeships offer, whilst encouraging more people to choose them as a pathway to a great career. Through first-hand experience, we have seen the opportunities they have offered our team and this is an initiative we fully support.

Eloise first joined Rolton Group in October 2017 and opted to undertake an apprenticeship to gain the necessary experience and qualifications for her career, as well as developing her confidence and interpersonal skills. Her hard work and dedication to her role and the training Eloise successfully completed, has earnt her a well-deserved promotion.

Delighted by her achievements, Eloise said,

“I am so pleased I chose the apprenticeship route. The scheme offered by Rolton Group has allowed me to learn on the job and receive mentoring throughout, enabling me to reflect on my experiences and develop my skills both professionally and personally. I also feel my ideas have been considered which has helped to improve the efficiency of the team.

“The support I have received from both the admin and wider team has been fantastic and I would urge anyone who is considering an apprenticeship to take the opportunity with both hands!”

Now undertaking her Level 3 Business Administration qualifications, Eloise is continuing to develop the skills required for her role, as well as undertaking ‘off the job training’ to allow her to have a better understanding of how other areas of the business operate.

Deputy Managing Director, Chris Evans said of the occasion,

It has been a pleasure to see Eloise put her heart into her work and become a trusted and valued member of the Rolton Group team.

Congratulations Eloise!
