Yesterday (Sunday 26th November 2017) Deputy Managing Director Chris Evans, Chairman Peter Rolton and his son Jack Rolton, had the pleasure of visiting the Central England Rehabilitation Unit (CERU) in Leamington Spa, where Chris presented a cheque for £6,175 which he raised when completing the Fastnet Challenge.

Back in August Chris and his team completedthe Rolex Fastnet Challenge in 4 days and 13 hours. The challenge is consideredto be one of the most demanding classic offshore races in the international sailingcalendar, spanning 600-nautical miles.

CERU is a specialist Level 1 facility forpost-intensive care patients who have suffered serious head trauma and is closeto both Chris and Peters’ families. Chris’ son suffered a serious head injurythat resulted in a bleed on the brain in a footballing accident four years ago.More recently, Peter’s son Jack received the excellent care given by CERUfollowing a car accident last year.

Chris said,
