Children In Need 2015

Last Friday saw a vast array of heroes and villains take over the Rolton Group offices in aid of Children In Need.

We saw the likes of Batman, Bane and Scarecrow from the Batman series as well as Wonder Woman, Superman, Robin Hood and a Minecraft Creeper among many others.

In addition to our ‘Heroes and Villains’ themed fancy dress, our talented staff made some delicious cakes, tarts and savory snacks, which went down a treat!

We held a competition for the best hero, best villain, best baked treat and worst effort made, which were won by Steve Harding (Batman), Adam Marciniak (Creeper), Iain Nelson (Lemon Drizzle) and Eoghan Lodge (Harry Potter) respectively. Congratulations to all of our winners!

Children In Need is a fantastic cause that aims to change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the UK, with a vision of a future in which “every child in the UK has a safe, happy and secure childhood and the chance to reach their potential.”

This year for Children In Need, Rolton Group raised an impressive total of £190. Thank you to everyone involved with the day and for all of your support!

Lift at the Open University

Rolton strengthens vertical transportation division with strategic appointment of senior consultant.

We are delighted to welcome Krzysztof Mielnik to the Rolton team as senior consultant for vertical transportation (VT).

Krzysztof’s appointment marks the next step in the rapid growth of our recently launched independent Vertical Transportation consultancy. Led by industry expert Tim Piggott, our dedicated VT team provides comprehensive expertise across the entire lifecycle of advanced lift technology from design and construction to commissioning, handover, and ongoing operational support.

Rolton contributes to new 2030 built environment workforce planning report

Rolton is pleased to have contributed to the newly launched industry report, ‘Built Environment Strategic Workforce Planning for 2030’.

The comprehensive publication stems from the latest INSPIRE event hosted by the Built Environment Futures Assembly (BEFA). This powerful leadership forum was established by the University of the Built Environment (UBE) to break down professional silos, spark collaboration, and drive excellence across engineering, construction, and real estate.
