Rolton Group would like to wish a warm congratulations to long-term client BMW as they celebrated 15 years of successful MINI production last week. Rolton Group has enjoyed a working partnership with the car manufacturer for over 10 years.
The first new, reinvented MINIs began rolling off the production line at BMW’s Oxford facility on the 26thApril 2001. Since then, the company has more than doubled its capacity in Oxford, the hub of MINI production where the cars are assembled and receive their finishing touches. Rolton Group has provided engineering design, project management and construction management services for over 120 projects as part of the plant’s expansion, which has included body-in-white facilities, remodelled final assembly areas, and a new logistics centre.
Rolton Group wishes BMW continued success for future MINI production, a car which many enthusiasts and fans of the brand now consider to be a ‘modern classic’.
