We are very proud to officially announce that Associate Director Craig Smith has achieved Chartered Engineer status.

Following completion of his master’s degree (MSc) in Building Services Engineering Management in 2009, which was proudly sponsored by the Rolton Group, Craig undertook a programme of continuous professional development towards applying for Chartered Engineer (CEng) status through the Engineering Council (EC) UK.

In May of this year, he applied to the Institution of Engineering and Technology (formerly the Institution of Electrical Engineers) for the grade of CEng; this followed completion of the application process, demonstration of competences in accord with the ECUK SPEC and an interview in October. Craig’s name will shortly be registered following completion of associated paperwork with the EC and the IET as Chartered Engineer.

Congratulations to Craig, whose ambition and capability have seen him rise through the company since arriving in 2002 as an Assistant Project Engineer to his current position on the senior management team; the accolade is well deserved.
