For the fifth year running, we’re pleased to confirm that Rolton Group is Cyber Essentials Plus certified.

With around 40% of UK businesses identifying a cyber attack within the last 12 months and a rising average cost of such attacks reaching £4,200 (or £19,400 for medium and large businesses) cyber crime continues to be a considerable threat to all businesses. The threats are varied and adaptable, ranging from high volume opportunistic attacks like phishing attempts, to highly sophisticated and persistent threats involving bespoke malware or ransomware designed to compromise specific targets.

Rolton Group’s latest Cyber Essentials Plus certification means that our business passed the Government-backed scheme’s detailed assessments and a hands-on technical verification process, confirming that our practices and approach to cyber security provide protection against a wide variety of the most common cyber attacks.

Craig Smith, Managing Director of Rolton Group, said:

“It’s great to see our commitment to cyber security and ongoing investment in secure software and hardware infrastructure has been recognised as meeting this advanced industry standard. Not only is it good news for our own business security but it also bring peace of mind to the clients and partners we work with, as formal recognition of that cyber security commitment.”
