We were deeply saddened to hear the news that our colleague Joanna’s two and a half year old nephew Nicolas has been diagnosed with Binocular Retinoblastoma, a cancer of the eye.

The disease has caused such severe damage to his right eye that it has now been amputated and Joanna’s family, who live in Poland, are working hard to raise money for pioneering treatment in the UK to save the vision in his left eye and rid him of the cancer, which could spread if left untreated.

The full course of treatment costs £60,000 and thanks to the incredible effort of family and friends, more than half of the total amount has already been raised. As a company we will be taking part in internal fundraising events to help support them in reaching this all-important target, and would encourage anyone who is able to donate to the cause by clicking on the link below (this will need to be translated into English, a function provided by most web browsers):

Alternatively, donations can be made in person to the collection boxes stationed in each of the Rolton Group offices.
