On 1st April, Board Director David Rolton officially took on a new role within the Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership, and is now their Chairman of Business and Innovation.

High congratulations are in order, as this sector is doing particularly well; Northamptonshire has been named by the government’s Department for Business, Innovation and Skills as ‘the most enterprising place in Britain’, and in the last month, finance data specialist Experian rated Northampton as the highest scoring location in the country to do business, measured across four metrics: number of start-ups, rate of insolvencies, level of financial health, and business turnover.

We wish David the very best in this new venture, and are sure he will make a great success of his role as Northampton continues to compete at the forefront of the nation’s economic recovery.

Rolton is pleased to have contributed to the newly launched industry report, ‘Built Environment Strategic Workforce Planning for 2030’.

The comprehensive publication stems from the latest INSPIRE event hosted by the Built Environment Futures Assembly (BEFA). This powerful leadership forum was established by the University of the Built Environment (UBE) to break down professional silos, spark collaboration, and drive excellence across engineering, construction, and real estate.
