Richard Christopher joined the Rolton Group in 1992, and in the twenty two years since has developed an unparalleled knowledge of his craft as a structural technician, providing solutions to all manner of complex site issues.

He has seen industry methods develop from drawing film and ink pen to the latest in 3D design technology and computer software, and has embraced the evolution of the Rolton Group that has occurred in tandem with these changes.

After so many years of continuous and excellent service, it is with some sadness that we announce Richard’s retirement, although we made sure he left in style with a celebration and a number of gifts, including a painting of his favourite pastime! As the picture makes clear, he is a keen narrowboat enthusiast, and we hope he will enjoy the extra time in his schedule to spend on the water as part of a very happy retirement.

Rolton is pleased to have contributed to the newly launched industry report, ‘Built Environment Strategic Workforce Planning for 2030’.

The comprehensive publication stems from the latest INSPIRE event hosted by the Built Environment Futures Assembly (BEFA). This powerful leadership forum was established by the University of the Built Environment (UBE) to break down professional silos, spark collaboration, and drive excellence across engineering, construction, and real estate.
