Mental Health Awareness Week
13 May 2024David Beeny has been influential in supporting our employees on the importance of removing the stigma of mental health in the workplace and we were proud to be his first client.
On Friday evening, Chairman Peter Rolton and Director Andrew Chisem attended this year’s annual Kimbolton School Careers Fair, where students have the opportunity to speak to representatives from numerous companies and learn about the industries they represent.
Peter Rolton and Andrew Chisem were on hand to inform students about different engineering disciplines, what a career in engineering entails and entry routes into the industry.
As the UK’s engineering industry faces a shortage of new graduates, Rolton Group recognises the importance of informing young people about the benefits that a career in engineering can offer. Participating in careers fairs and speaking to students who are choosing which subjects to study ensures that they are able to make informed decisions about their education based on their career goals.
Speaking in schools is just one of the multiple ways in which Rolton Group encourages students to consider careers in engineering; other initiatives Rolton Group employs is by offering modern apprenticeships and participating in “open-doors” events.
