We are extremely pleased to announce that we have recently been appointed on our 50th project for the fourth largest supermarket chain in the UK, Morrisons.

This is a huge milestone for our business and illustrates our success at maintaining clients through effective relationship building and exceeding expectations when delivering projects.

The projects that we have undertaken for Morrisons have been delivered across the UK and have been a real variation; from fresh looks in locations such as Ipswich, Canning Town and Corby, to extensions in Beccles, Pinchbeck and Faversham, and more recently, a new build in Little Clacton, Clacton-on-Sea which marks our 50th project milestone.

Rolton Group was appointed by long-standing client, Princebuild Ltd for our 50th project, providing Civil and Structural engineering services for the new build.

Late last year, Morrisons gained permission to demolish its current ‘barn-like’ supermarket. A temporary store has been erected in the car park whilst we work alongside Princebuild and Morrisons to design a larger, c.64,500sqft replacement store with a homelier feel for the local community to enjoy.

We are extremely thankful to all members of staff who have supported us in completing these schemes, your work, effort and determination is highly appreciated.

Next stop, 100!

Rolton is pleased to have contributed to the newly launched industry report, ‘Built Environment Strategic Workforce Planning for 2030’.

The comprehensive publication stems from the latest INSPIRE event hosted by the Built Environment Futures Assembly (BEFA). This powerful leadership forum was established by the University of the Built Environment (UBE) to break down professional silos, spark collaboration, and drive excellence across engineering, construction, and real estate.
