The Built Environment Futures Assembly is a powerful leadership forum for the built environment sector to build future-facing capacity, capability and competency through shared knowledge, learning and innovation.
Peter Rolton is delighted to be part of the Strategic Advisory Board for the Built Environment Futures Assembly (BEFA) facilitated by the University of the Built Environment.
Senior leaders from across the UK’s built environment sector convened for the inaugural meeting of the Built Environment Futures Assembly (BEFA) Strategic Advisory Board, chaired by Mark Farmer.
Board members agreed BEFA’s mission to strengthen the built environment sector’s future-facing capacity, capability & competency via two principal focus areas: ‘Education & Future Skills’ and ‘Professionalism’.
The Board brings together expertise spanning training, consultancy, development, design, construction, government and digital innovation.
Discussions covered BEFA’s role as a collaborative, evidence-led forum working alongside existing sector coalitions, with a focus on additionality, particularly as the sector responds to new regulation, economic realities and the rapid advances in artificial intelligence.
