Tim Piggott has been announced as Rolton’s new Head of Vertical Transportation.

Rolton today announced the launch of a new service line focused on the design, construction, commissioning, handover and in-use support of advanced lift technology, championed by leading expert Tim Piggott.

Tim has 25 years’ experience in the vertical transportation industry and is respected by manufacturers, installers and consultants alike.

Based in London, his team will provide surveys, feasibility studies, life-cycle reporting, financial planning, tender evaluation and CDM management for new installations, refurbishments and maintenance.

Rolton’s latest dedicated service line is recognition of the vital role vertical transportation plays in the today’s built environment. Our team will collaborate with colleagues in mechanical, electrical and structural engineering within a multi-disciplinary approach to give clients a complete end-to-end service.

“Rolton understands the importance role of lift technology, particularly in the construction, extension or refurbishment of offices in large commercial centres, such as London,” said Tim.
