We are thrilled to announce that Rolton Group has been appointed to provide mechanical and electrical performance design services on the construction of a new multi storey car park at thecentre:MK shopping centre in Milton Keynes.

We were appointed to continue our relation with the centre and the interface to other project schemes which are ongoing with the shopping centre, having worked on various projects including the Sunset Walk and various Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) projects.

The new car park will be made up of four levels, including a roof deck. Our engineers will have a number of responsibilities within this project including utility searches, incoming utility supplies, LV distribution, electrical lighting installations, small power, CCTV, car park barriers and ticketing systems, fire detection and alarm, lightning protection and cold water services to name but a few.

We will be able to draw down on our extensive experience of retail, industrial and commercial sectors to undertake the design and initial coordination of this scheme.

Rolton contributes to new 2030 built environment workforce planning report

The comprehensive publication stems from the latest INSPIRE event hosted by the Built Environment Futures Assembly (BEFA). This powerful leadership forum was established by the University of the Built Environment (UBE) to break down professional silos, spark collaboration, and drive excellence across engineering, construction, and real estate.
