On Wednesday 4th July, the day after England reached the quarter finals of the World Cup, another great sporting moment occurred when Rolton Group beat MK Surveys in our annual cricket match!

This cricketing rivalry dates back more than 18 years and in recent times MK Surveys have dominated, but everything changed this year when Rolton Group scored 118-5 to beat them for the first time in a long time. Special mentions go to Tom Bishop and Chris Percival who hit some mighty sixes and Joe Watts, Chris Carrier, Gavin Baxter and Jonny Waters who got some great catches and wickets between them.

Chris Percival got the highest score and was forced to retire at 29 runs not out, closely followed by Iain Nelson with 25 runs; Tom Dembry scored the winning run!

Thank you to everyone who came along to support both teams. We are already looking forward to next year’s match!
