On Friday 23rd October, our Higham Ferrers team took part in the ‘Wear it Pink’ day to raise money for Breast Cancer Now.

As well as a pink-themed mufti day, we also had some delicious cakes to sell, which were generously donated by Kate Roche, Jenny Walker, Roisin Cloake, Johnny Sampson and Charlotte Nimmo. They certainly went down well!

Breast Cancer Now is the UK’s largest breast cancer charity. Through their research and campaigns, they hope that by 2050, everyone who develops breast cancer will be able to survive. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and ‘Wear it Pink’ is the charity’s flagship fundraising event, held across the UK. The money raised will go towards furthering the charity’s important research into the causes of breast cancer, early detection and diagnosis, treatment and control of the disease.

Thanks to the efforts of everyone in the office, we managed to raise a fantastic total of £107.75 for this worthy cause!
