Andrew has led teams across all disciplines over the past 35 years, he is vastly experienced in delivering multi-disciplinary engineering services for complex projects across the built environment.

Andrew has been with Rolton since 1989, through both practical industry experience and leading in house teams across all disciplines, he is vastly experienced in delivering multi-disciplinary engineering services for complex projects across the built environment.

A Chartered Structural Engineer and Chartered Builder Andrew has the unique expertise of understanding both the business case and the solution to ensure viable and sustainable outcomes. Through his forensic touch to investigate and find problems on site he ensures smooth delivery and support to his clients with his customer driven solutions.

His clear communication has led to him obtaining relationships for decades whilst also bringing benefit to his team through his senior oversight and mentoring mentality.

He focuses on strategy and added value, but continues to be heavily involved in our civil, structural, geotechnical and geo-environmental engineering projects – from strategies for new sites to the progression of sustainable developments. Andrew is a clear thinker and problem solver, he has strong building materials expertise to include timber, reinforcement and concrete, enabling him to provide a strategic service across sectors from automotive, retail, chemical works, industrial food processing, housing and more.

Andrew’s deep sector knowledge and experience as a hands-on structural engineer make him an asset on every project, and he brings a unique perspective to energy and renewables, and the challenges of a resurgent automotive sector. Including his valuable knowledge obtained through working on Europe’s largest car showroom worth £50 million. However, Andrew’s expertise does not stop there as his technical competence is stretched across looking after old press shops and collapsing buildings.
