Proven skills in engineering, business development and team management having previously been instrumental in expanding an engineering team from less than ten to over one hundred personnel, building trust based long-term relationships since the 1980s and a true passion for sustainability through consistently championing environmentally responsible solutions in every project.

Andrew’s focus for more than twenty years has been extensively in the commercial office sector, where he has been active in new builds, category A refurbishments for investors and category B fit outs for tenants.

A Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), he has an honours degree in building services engineering.

As well as working on global projects in many sectors including: healthcare, cinemas, aviation, retail, transport and data centres -Andrew is also respected as an expert witness particularly in the Rent Review sector.

He has led major end-user client projects and managed long-term frameworks for a major investment organisation and for an international telecoms business.

Andrew is responsible for our Strategic Energy & Sustainability and Building Services Engineering service lines, where he will utilise his long-term experience to build on established relationships and drive growth opportunities for the company.

Based primarily in Rolton’s London office Andrew also supports engineers in all other offices.

Rolton strengthens vertical transportation division with strategic appointment of senior consultant.

We are delighted to welcome Krzysztof Mielnik to the Rolton team as senior consultant for vertical transportation (VT).

Krzysztof’s appointment marks the next step in the rapid growth of our recently launched independent Vertical Transportation consultancy. Led by industry expert Tim Piggott, our dedicated VT team provides comprehensive expertise across the entire lifecycle of advanced lift technology from design and construction to commissioning, handover, and ongoing operational support.

Rolton is pleased to have contributed to the newly launched industry report, ‘Built Environment Strategic Workforce Planning for 2030’.

The comprehensive publication stems from the latest INSPIRE event hosted by the Built Environment Futures Assembly (BEFA). This powerful leadership forum was established by the University of the Built Environment (UBE) to break down professional silos, spark collaboration, and drive excellence across engineering, construction, and real estate.
