Working with integrity and transparency to collaborate with other professionals to navigate complex regulatory landscapes.

Charles is an Associate Director Designate with more than 10 years’ experience working in the geotechnical and geo-environmental services industry.

A Fellow of the Geological Society, he has an analytical skill set in geotechnical and geo-environmental engineering design including contaminated site investigation, remediation, interpretation and reporting.

Charles provides a range of geotechnical services to support our clients’ development aspirations – from pre-purchase due diligence studies that help assess the commercial viability of sites through to development completion, ensuring client objectives are achieved. As an Associate Director, he coordinates our site teams to secure successful delivery of large-scale projects with a customer focused approach whilst taking steps to mitigate risk.

A strong technical understanding of the environmental legislation that imposes obligations on clients. Whilst producing innovative solutions for commercial challenges associated with acquiring and redeveloping brownfield sites in compliance with industry standards.

He has vast experience of adding value with sustainable solutions for clients, across sectors such as petroleum retail sites, landfills, quarries, private to large scale residential developments and industrial redevelopments.

Lift at the Open University

Rolton strengthens vertical transportation division with strategic appointment of senior consultant.

We are delighted to welcome Krzysztof Mielnik to the Rolton team as senior consultant for vertical transportation (VT).

Krzysztof’s appointment marks the next step in the rapid growth of our recently launched independent Vertical Transportation consultancy. Led by industry expert Tim Piggott, our dedicated VT team provides comprehensive expertise across the entire lifecycle of advanced lift technology from design and construction to commissioning, handover, and ongoing operational support.
