To deliver the Advanced Thermal Treatment (ATT) energy from waste facility in Hoddesdon, Clayton and his team radically revised initial foundation designs (produced outside of Rolton) to make significant cost savings for the client through intelligent redesign to reduce the number of piles required and make the scheme commercially viable.
Clayton first joined Rolton in 2011 and since graduating from university in 2006 with a master’s degree in civil and Structural Engineering he has gained extensive experience working as a full-time structural engineer within the built environment, along the way earning Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Structural Engineers. Clayton provides structural engineering design, technical advice and support to clients, architects, and contractors, involved at all project stages.
With a focus firmly on the future, Clayton is also responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of Rolton’s BIM capabilities and internal CAD and 3D modelling standards.
