As Head of  Strategic Energy, Utilities & MEP, Iain joined Rolton in 2008 forming a vital part of our multi-disciplinary team, delivering engineering services on a wide range of projects across sectors such as commercial, retail, education, leisure, health and residential, for a variety of clients from The Royal Opera House to Northwood Secondary School.

Iain is responsible for some of Rolton’s most prestigious projects, taking schemes from feasibility to final handover. His technical duties include the full design of mechanical building services elements. He is fully conversant with dynamic thermal modelling and building regulations Part L compliance, via computer simulation.

In his role as Head of Strategic Energy, Iain has great involvement with overseeing the mechanical and electrical team at Rolton. Other responsibilities include liaising with all members of the design team to coordinate various design elements, onsite survey work and providing technical advice on the performance of mechanical building services systems and design standards.
