Scott is a problem-solving chartered structural engineer with more than 12 years’ experience collaborating with clients, end-users and design teams to ensure deliverables are met in accordance with client objectives.

As an Associate, Scott manages projects from initial concept to final handover, provides technical expertise and practical advice. He leads on the delivery of cost-effective civil and structural engineering sustainable solutions for the residential, industrial, automotive, education and retail sectors.

He has a particular interest in sustainable development, renovation, the conservation of older buildings and listed properties, but brings a concise, critical thinking approach to design solutions for all existing buildings, reconfigurations and new-build projects.

When working on conservation projects in particular, his attention to detail enables him to understand how components of older buildings interact allowing him to develop accurate, bespoke solutions.

Scott, a committee member and former secretary of the Institution of Structural Engineers regional group, has extensive leadership experience, including mentoring engineers toward chartership, supporting interviews, and organising technical seminars. His involvement keeps him up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and codes, enhancing his sustainability and environmental awareness to ensure compliance on every project.

He provides day-to-day support for colleagues, clients and contractors, oversees all outputs from the structural engineering service lines, and is a committed advocate for knowledge sharing and integrated design across the company.

Our senior team enjoyed a wonderful evening at the Dorchester Living Charity Gala Dinner, in support of Homeless Oxfordshire, who provide accommodation for people experiencing homelessness.

Dorchester Living hosted an incredible evening – a great location, amazing food and entertainment, at The Heyford, on the site of the former RAF base in Oxfordshire.
