Tim has 25 years’ experience in the vertical transportation industry, and is a specialist in lift technology and occupational health and safety.

Formerly a director of the largest VT consultancy in the UK he brings an innovative and collaborative approach to achieve vertical transportation sustainable solutions.

A strategic thinker and natural leader, he has vast experience working with clients, design teams, manufacturers and installers delivering projects in a diverse range of sectors including Russell Group Universities, London’s most prestigious hotels, commercial offices, retail and leading shopping centres across the UK.

His passion is to identify the most environmentally sustainable solution thorough the application of the latest technologies whilst retaining and refurbishing existing components to reduce the environmental impact of projects. He consistently reaches customer sustainability goals towards net zero whilst enabling the most efficient solutions that compile with current standards and codes of conduct.

From feasibility, energy efficiency & sustainability studies, design, regulatory compliance, surveys, life cycle reporting, financial planning, tender evaluation, and project delivery, Tim brings a meticulous approach with a deep understanding of the industry to ensure our clients receive impartial and independent advice.

He works collaboratively with colleagues across all disciplines in our mechanical, electrical, structural and energy sectors ensuring a holistic approach so that clients benefit from Rolton’s expertise in all aspects of the project to identify the best solutions to their vertical transportation needs.
