Rolton take the lead role as engineering consultant for “Peppa Pig: Surprise Party” immersive experience, the first of its kind at Metrocenter, Gateshead.

This ground-breaking, multi-million-pound project spanning 19,000 square feet at the iconic Metrocenter gave Rolton the opportunity to lead works at this landmark site in the North East, to deliver the ambitious project for Immersive Everywhere.

With our extensive capability and experience in retail shopping centres, leisure, theatres and production Rolton were ideally placed to take the lead as engineering consultant, with delivery of designs and management for the initial and upfront landlord enabling works and the pre-fit out shell contract.

Rolton led as architect, project manager, cost management and contract administrator, managing quantity surveying and core engineering services encompassing our structural engineering, strategic energy and utilities, mechanical and electrical building services (MEP), design coordination.

Rolton contributes to new 2030 built environment workforce planning report

Rolton is pleased to have contributed to the newly launched industry report, ‘Built Environment Strategic Workforce Planning for 2030’.

The comprehensive publication stems from the latest INSPIRE event hosted by the Built Environment Futures Assembly (BEFA). This powerful leadership forum was established by the University of the Built Environment (UBE) to break down professional silos, spark collaboration, and drive excellence across engineering, construction, and real estate.
