Rolton work closely with clients to identify opportunities of large-scale, unlocking the potential of undeveloped land enabling strategic infrastructure.

This incorporates the evaluation of strategic land, often grey belt, green or brownfield, lacking current planning permission but with, long-term, high potential for a range of development opportunities, from large-scale industrial sites, commercial development to data centres.

Geotechnical & Geo-Environmental Engineering

Rolton provides a comprehensive Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental service for the investigation and assessment of land for development, with vast experience in geotechnical design and the remediation of contaminated land.

We understand the environmental legislation which imposes obligations on clients, as well as the commercial challenges associated with acquiring and redeveloping brownfield sites.

Civil Engineering

Civil engineering lies at the very heart of the core services offered by Rolton. We have a vast amount of experience in the field and find that increasingly, the environmental and sustainable aspects of a project are of paramount importance and inform much of the way we deploy our civil engineering expertise.

For over 40 years our structural engineers have provided technical expertise to our clients, through high-level considered advice, or detailed design and implementation.   Our engineers have extensive experience in the core construction materials of steelwork, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry, all provided with consideration of the client’s brief and needs, construction costs and environmental impact.

Our team has fostered an environment that focuses on problem solving, but this is not limited to design challenges or unforeseen issues encountered on site; we aim to solve the problems faced by our clients, whether this is through economic design, concept advice, or innovative alterations to the construction method, material, or sequencing.

Building Services Engineering systems include mechanical, electrical and public health engineering services (MEP).
