Civil engineering lies at the very heart of the core services offered by Rolton. We have a vast amount of experience in the field and find that increasingly, the environmental and sustainable aspects of a project are of paramount importance and inform much of the way we deploy our civil engineering expertise.

Our experienced civils and infrastructure team offer clients and projects of all sizes an exemplary combination of knowledge and practical experience which, through assessment, investigation and design, ensures that every site receives the perfect bespoke solution to suit its own unique requirements.

Through collaboration with design teams and local authorities from an early stage in a project, our team is able to advise the project team about it’s viability and inform the development of the scheme to add value and reduce risks.

Our team typically offer the following civil and infrastructure services:

• Site Constraint Plans and Feasibility studies
• Early site layout development
• Vehicle Tracking for site movements to inform the layout of the scheme
• Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies including SuDS Strategies
• Infrastructure support during the planning process and assistance in condition discharge with Lead Local Flood Authorities and Local Highway and Planning Authorities.
• 3D ground modelling and earthworks design including Levels design and Cut and Fill assessments
• Private and Adoptable Highway and hardstanding designs including procuring Section 38 and 278 agreements with the relevant authority
• Private and Adoptable Drainage design including procuring Section 104, Section 106 and Section 185 agreements with the relevant authority and SuDS Designs
• Management of engineering investigations and surveys
