Biography

A highly experienced Chartered Engineer with over 20 years of industry experience

As a member of our Senior Management Team (SMT), Eleanor further supports the business at a strategic level, including a focus on the growth and expansion of Rolton Group in the Northeast region.

In her role as Lead Engineer (Site) within the Structural service line, Eleanor is responsible for leading the construction stage monitoring team for the £3.8bn scheme known as Project Phoenix – the UK’s first full-scale Gigaplant for battery technology giant, Britishvolt.

From secondment as an engineer on-site for the complex Sage Music Centre project in her early career, through to more recent involvement in major schemes such as Hinkley Point C - one of the largest construction projects in Europe - Eleanor has an impressive track record and holds extensive knowledge and experience working to deliver projects across a range of sectors, including leisure, commercial and industrial.

Eleanor is also a Chartered Member of both the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE).
