Graham Waring MRICS | Director

Biography

"We score highly because we don’t just tell people what they need to do. We look at resources and opportunities and match technologies to those opportunities, not the other way round"
Graham Waring

Understand business drivers, define solutions, and deliver

Where the roles of the other company directors may follow well-defined paths, Graham Waring treads several, bringing a varied set of skills to each project with which he is involved.

"The guys around me are highly experienced engineers and as a project manager from a commercial background, I have a different perspective." This different approach complements the other members of the senior management team, as Graham is able to take nebulous concepts and shape them, providing direction and process to facilitate tangible results.

With more than 25 years of industry and commercial experience, Graham has an ingrained appreciation for client business drivers, and puts these front and centre to ensure all objectives are realised from inception to completion.

"My work involves building client relationships. That means understanding what our clients’ needs are, and making sure that we deliver a solution that meets those requirements. In that regard, lateral thinking as much as possible is very important."

Graham works at the early stages of projects, and his priority is the development of well-thought and pragmatic solutions. Working with The Crown Estate and the Ministry of Defence Graham developed bespoke energy strategies that focused on the introduction of renewable energy generation. Graham is equally comfortable in assessing the feasibility of particular renewable energy generating solutions as he has undertaken for Honda, Jaguar Land Rover, BMW and British Land, amongst others.

“Fundamentally, I enjoy working with people. Creating and working in successful teams provides the best working environment, and it is through collaboration that the best results are delivered."
