Rolton Group sponsored team in ‘Football Remembers’

Manager Colin Parker kindly said the following of our involvement:

"On behalf of St Neots Town Youth & Saints Football Club we would sincerely like to thank the Directors of Rolton Group for agreeing to sponsor the Under 18 Girls for the next two seasons.

"This season so far the squad of over-sixteen girls have played very well and we currently sit second in the Cambridgeshire FA - S-Tech League and have already progressed to the semi-finals of the League Cup. The sponsorship is very much appreciated and goes a long way to our training and equipment costs."

The two teams got together at the end of the game to take part in a ‘Football Remembers’ mixed photograph, joining forces with teams across the country to commemorate the brief truce that occurred between British and German forces so they could play a match at Christmas in 1914. It is great to see that with fierce competition there remains strong camaraderie, and we wish the girls the best of luck in the rest of the season!
