Housing project of the year: Bacton Low Rise

Phase 1 of the Bacton Low Rise project has received a tremendous amount of well-deserved attention this year and we are now delighted to say that this community-focused £50million redevelopment scheme has won Building Magazine’s Award for Housing Project of the Year 2016.

Comprising 63 new homes and associated open space, Rolton Group provided geotechnical, energy, mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural engineering design services for phase 1a of the Bacton Low Rise project. The scheme forms part of Camden Council’s Gospel Oak Community Investment Programme, which aims to invest in homes, schools and community facilities.

A huge congratulations to the project team which includes the commissioning authority London Borough of Camden, architects Karakusevic Carson Architects and Alan Camp Architects, engineers Rolton Group, planning consultants Quod and the principal contractor Rydon Group.
