Nampak Factory Site, Woburn Sands
This project involved the demolition of a former plastics factory to make way for residential redevelopment.
The factory had been built over a former brickworks, clay pits and a timber yard. Consequently there was significant impact on soil and groundwater from the former usage. Rolton Group carried out a full intrusive site investigation, assessment and reporting, production of remediation specification and validation of the works. Recommendations for foundation and infrastructure design for the residential development together with full design of the foundations.
