Parsonage House Annexe

The Grade I listed nature of the Parsonage property in this beautiful conservation area meant that our client was unable to modify or extend their home.

The creative solution to this problem was to build sympathetically into the garden; of course, this was still a challenge but Rolton Group’s extensive experience of the planning process ensured smooth progression for this significant annexe building that housed a games room and bar.

The project involved the demolition of the existing redundant out building, and then the design and project management of the new construction. Our client was delighted with the result:

"It has always been a dream of mine to have a 'Boys’ Room'; Rolton Group quickly turned this dream into a very detailed design project and following lengthy discussions with the Council, planning was approved in mid-2010. The plans were excellent and immediately I could begin to envisage the end product.
"The project management was expertly undertaken and work began in late autumn 2010. Despite a very hard winter by the spring of 2011 I had the outer building erected and only a few short months later in June 2011 the work was complete. The quality of the design and the careful attention to detail exceeded what I had imagined. And now, some 3 years later, the room is a really important part of our lives; if only my snooker, darts and table tennis could live up to the quality of the environment!"
